The first significant Man made Biosphere ... Biosphere 2 .. Wikipedia .. Jan. 23, 2023

Biosphere 2... is the first significant man-made Biosphere which houses a series of Ecological Biomes in a glass and steel framed structure. Eight people went into this sealed Biosphere ... to live for 2 years. The facility was only opened once in the two years to re-balance oxygen levels.

This was the prototype structure for a sealed ecosystem balanced man-made Earth like Biosphere.

It was not perfect but it was very beneficial to learn about how to live in a sealed ecological environment.

The reference documents in this file go a long way to learning what a man-made sealed Biosphere is all about.

I learned about this structure when I started working on a City-wide Noah's Ark type Biosphere.

I worked on a City Biosphere concept in response to a job I was chosen for, at NDHQ in Ottawa, Ontario. This term of Scientific Military Intelligence employment dealt with aspects of preparing for WW3 .. in my category ... nuclear warfare.

The Biosphere I developed can be referred to as the NJ-12 Biosphere .. as it is focused on accommodating a survival group of 12 tribes with 12,000 in each tribe within a structure which is has specifications based on the Christian Biblical Spec. for New Jerusalem.

The Book written about the NJ-12 Biosphere (Ark-2) experience is called "The NJ-12 Biosphere" and presents a story which is part fact and part fiction, about a man called Nathan Daniels, who devotes his life to the development and building of a survival Ark for Earth kind.

Other parts of this blog outline many various aspects of the fictional/factual NJ-12 Biosphere.

The Biosphere may be mankind's last hope if there is a clear annd present danger of nuclear war.

In one context the Biosphere is a warning and a deterrent ... in another context is is the means of providing shelter for Earth-kind through a terrible period of Tribulation.
